HDFC NEFT Limits & Timings

The HDFC Bank’s NEFT service comes with specific transaction limits based on the time of transfer. The table below shows a quick overview of the HDFC NEFT Limits as per the respective NEFT Timings.

Fund transfers via HDFC NEFT transactions can be done in two ways, that is, online and offline fund transfers. Let’s have a look at each of them:

HDFC NEFT Fund Transfer Online

HDFC Online NEFT transactions can be done via NetBanking and MobileBanking.

    1. HDFC NetBanking

Below are the steps to follow for HDFC NEFT fund transfers via HDFC NetBanking:

      1. Visit the official HDFC NetBanking portal.

2.Enter your Customer ID and Password.

3.Click on ‘Fund Transfer’ and select the ‘NEFT’ option.

4.Click on ‘Add Beneficiary’ and enter the beneficiary type.

5.Click on ‘Transfer to Another Bank’.

6.Enter the Receiver’s details such as Name, IFSC Code, Bank Name, Account Number, Branch Name, etc.

7.After the amount has been transferred successfully, a confirmation message will appear.

2.HDFC MobileBanking

For NEFT transfer via HDFC Bank’s MobileBanking app, here are the steps to follow:

    1. Install and open the HDFC Bank MobileBanking App.
    2. Follow the steps to add a beneficiary if not added.
    3. After the beneficiary has been activated, Go to ‘Funds Transfer’ and select ‘Transfer to another bank (NEFT)’.
    4. Choose your account and Select the beneficiary.
    5. Enter the transfer amount.
    6. Check the details and confirm the transaction.

HDFC NEFT Fund Transfer Offline

Here are the steps to follow if you want to transfer funds via offline mode:

  1. Visit the nearest HDFC Bank branch.
  2. Request the NEFT/RTGS fund transfer form.
  3. Fill in the details in the application form such as Name, Account Details, Amount, etc.
  4. Submit the completed form to the bank official with the amount to be transferred.
  5. Your NEFT Request will be processed by the bank official.

Note that the fund will be transferred based on the processing time of the recipient’s bank.
