How to Order a PVC Aadhaar Card Online?
Here are the steps to apply for a PVC Aadhaar Card online:
Step 1: Visit ‘My Aadhaar’ official website – myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in
Step 2: Scroll down and click on ‘Order Aadhaar PVC Card’.

Step 3: You can choose from ‘Aadhaar Number’ or ‘Enrollment ID Number’. Enter your ‘Aadhaar Number’ and the Captcha as displayed on the screen.

Step 4: Click on ‘My Mobile Number is not registered’, enter your ‘Mobile Number’ and click on ‘Send OTP’.

Step 5: You will receive and OTP on your phone. Enter the OTP received and click on box ‘Terms and conditions’.

Step 6: The Terms & Conditions will be displayed on your screen, go through it and click on ‘Close’.

Step 7: Now Click on ‘Submit’.

Step 8: A new page will appear. Go through the details, click on the declaration and then click on ‘Make Payment’

Step 9: Pay the ₹50 fee using your preferred method (net banking, debit/credit card, UPI).

Step 10: After successful payment, the payment details along with SRN will be displayed. You can download the payment receipt by clicking on ‘Download Payment Receipt’ for future reference.
The SRN number will be sent to your phone for tracking. Delivery can take 5-10 days to your registered address.

Step 1: Visit UIDAI My Aadhaar official website – myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in Click on ‘Check Aadhaar PVC Card Order Status’.

Step 2: Enter the SRN Number and Captcha displayed on the screen and Click on Submit.

Step 3: The status of your Aadhaar PVC card will be displayed. You can also download the acknowledgement slip.

Payment for Online Update and PVC Card Request:
- The online update service is charged at ₹ 50.00, regardless of the number of demographic fields updated.
- Aadhaar PVC card from UIDAI incurs a charge of ₹ 50.00, covering card cost and delivery via India Post’s Speed Post service.
Payment Process:
- Payment is made through the UIDAI payment gateway using Netbanking, Debit/Credit Card, UPI, or other online options.
Cancellation of Online Update Request:
- Residents can cancel their update request before it is reviewed by backend operators, with a full refund of ₹ 50.00 upon successful cancellation.
Refund Policy:
- Refunds of ₹ 50.00 are issued only for canceled online update requests.
- UIDAI refunds ₹ 50.00 if the request for an Aadhaar PVC card fails due to technical reasons.
- Error during payment is reconciled with the payment gateway to determine the status.
- Reconciliation is done if money is deducted but not reflected on the order confirmation page.
- Successful reconciliation processes requests and initiates refunds for duplicate transactions.
Refund Processing Time:
- Refunds may take between 24 hours to 10 working days to be processed.
