Steps to Apply for PM Suryoday Yojana

To apply online for the Pradhan Mantri Suryodaya Yojana, follow these steps carefully:

Step 1: Visit the official PM Surya Ghar website.

Step 2: Once you click on the link, the home page will appear on your screen.

Step 3: In the Quick Links section, click on the "Apply For Rooftop Solar" option.

Step 4: The Suryoday Yojana Online Registration Form will open. Enter your state, district, electricity distributor’s name, and consumer account number. Then, enter the captcha and click on ‘Next’ to complete the registration.

Step 5: Once the registration is complete, log in to the portal using your registered mobile number and Captcha.

Step 6: After logging in, complete the application form on your screen. Submit the application to have it reviewed by the electricity provider.

Step 7: Once you receive approval, have the rooftop solar panel installed by an authorized dealer.

Step 8: Apply for a net meter after the solar panel installation.

Step 9: After an inspection, DISCOM will issue you a commissioning certificate.

Step 10: Upload a canceled cheque and other bank details, along with the commissioning certificate, on the portal.
